Dawn wasn't entirely the religious sort. There was no doubt that the gods existed of course and she didn't hate them, but she wasn't a devout worshiper either. It was a mix of world events and her own nature that caused this. She had come to this temple on a whim when she was passing through town.

It was quite a surprise when she saw the goddess herself there to greet her. Even a smartass like Dawn was in a moment of stunned silence before she spoke. "Huh never thought I'd see a goddess in her own temple." Seems like they were usually very distant more often than not. "What has you slumming it down here with the mortals?" Despite how rough she might of sounded it was just her attempt at small talk to avoid being in awe at standing in front of a goddess. Even if Dawn had her own special abilities she couldn't say she quite had goddess status.

Plutena chuckled inwardly at her reaction. Even for the goddess of light, it was quite an ego boost to have people awestruck when she merely appeared in person. She stayed where she was for now, but her expression turned a little more welcoming, almost inviting her visitor to come closer.

"I can;t stay informed of what's happening in the world of mortals if I don't visit it from time to time," she explained. "It's worth coming here just to meet some of the people in person."

Well that seemed understandable. Couldn't exactly keep up with the times if you just stayed in Skyworld all the time. She decided to take Palutena up on the offer and come closer as she spoke.

"So given how long goddesses live I'm sure you've heard of humans with peculiar abilities, right?" Dawn wasn't one to fuss around with small talk if she had something on her mind.

Well, she could, in a manner of speaking. But after certain incidents in the past had spiraled out of control due to human nature, she'd decided to take a more active interest in things.

"Indeed I have. Magic sometimes results in exceptional humans." Her smile was getting less regal and more friendly the closer her visitor got - no need to be overly formal. "I take it you've got something you want to show me, since you asked?"

"Well I suppose I can show you." With little warning other than that Palutena would suddenly be sitting in front of a twin of herself.

Dawn was perfect, down to the last physical detail she could see. Anything covered by clothes was thankfully still covered by Dawn's clothes. Though now they were a bit ill-fitting.

Palutena wasn't quite startled by the sudden transformation, but she was certainly impressed. That was an exceptionally detailed copy of her appearance, clothes notwithstanding. Although being that tight was somewhat flattering...

"That's quite an ability," she commented. "I haven't seen many humans able to do it quite so convincingly."

"Yeah most of the so called shapeshifters I've seen use some sort of illusion magic, but you can feel that I'm entirely real." Without really thinking she brought a hand to stroke Palutena's cheek. Seems that it was difficult to reign in her boldness even when her actions were directed at the Goddess Palutena.

Some of the tightness was simply from the height difference. "Though I can't do anything that requires an extra bit of magic to do. Like your army's flying abilities. The only way I could do that is if my bones were like a bird's. Not exactly the most practical way to get around."

Touching Palutena like that did actually surprise her - very few people were so bold! But on the other hand, she didn't make an effort to stop her, either. It felt quite nice when it happened so rarely.

"I understand that. Bird bones are rather fragile. It's quite hard to keep something flying, even if we make it look easy." Nobody could ever say Palutena was completely without ego.

Dawn hadn't exactly expected that response from the touching. It certainly bolstered her own boldness.

"Yeah it definitely would take some strong magic." She would of never expected a goddess to be completely without ego. Came with territory of power. Dawn knew that from personal experience. With it also came her boldness.

"Though I have my limits. I can't exactly copy what I've never seen. So I can't be a perfect twin of you without seeing all of you."

Then like a flash of lightning she seemed to have an idea. "Oh! I know. Why don't I steal you away for a little bit for a bath? I know of a hot spring not too far from here."

"That's true. I don't put everything on display." Her robes gave a good idea of her figure, true, but it was a modest sort of beauty. A bit of cleavage was as far as it went.

When her guest mentioned baths, Palutena's smile lit up. "That sounds like a lovely idea." She slipped down from the altar to stand beside her guest... or twin, since she hadn't changed back yet. "I haven't had a proper soak since I started my travels. Lead the way."

She paused, then added, "Would you tell me your name? I could divine it, but it's so much effort when we're about to go relax."

"With a nice figure like that it wouldn't hurt to do it once in a while, but whatever makes you happy."

Seeing as Palutena agreed Dawn wasted no time in locking arms with Palutena and guiding her off as they spoke. Seems her boldness only grew when she knew it wouldn't get her in divine trouble.

"Oh sure. I guess there's no need for secrets after all. My name is Dawn Artemis. If you find yourself farther south you should try and find my sister Faye. She has the same abilities as me, but she doesn't have the confidence that I do. So I imagine a visit from a goddess would be a nice confidence boost."

It didn't take them long to get to the hot spring. It was rather out of the way, even for this already out of the way little village. It wasn't likely they would be interrupted. "And here we are~"

Without hesitation Dawn would start stripping off her clothes. Forgetting to change out of Palutena's form or maybe not considering that it might cause some embarrassment for the goddess to see herself strip.

Palutena happily let Dawn take her arm, and giggled a little when she mentioned her sister. "I'll consider it a prayer, then. I'll keep an eye out for her if I'm down that way."

She was quite content to have Dawn boldly lead her along, even if she was still a copy of her. When they reached the hot spring - in such a wonderfully private place, no less! - she started to say something before Dawn began shamelessly stripping off.

There was only the faintest pink tinge around Palutena's cheeks as she watched. She had to admit, it that was a reasonably accurate copy of her, she still looked pretty divine, pun intended. A moment later, she followed suit - for all her jewelry, it didn't take her that long to strip nude.

"Thanks a lot. By the way I've been meaning to ask. Is your palace in the sky an actual place someone could fly to? It'd be a bit of a dangerous journey, but me and Faye could drop by some time if that's the case."

Dawn was certainly happy she turned around. Catching Palutena strip with that light pink on her cheeks was something too cute to miss.

Without even thinking she would make the minor changes necessary to be Palutena's perfect twin. Now without going into questioning it would be impossible to tell the two apart. "You know I doubt many people could say they've bathed with a goddess," She remarked slyly.

"Nope, anyone can get there if you can fly high enough," she answered. "Skyworld's hard to miss up there. There's a barrier, but if I know it's you I can let you in." She chuckled a little. "I'll have to make a point of meeting your sister now."

Palutena watched the subtle changed Dawn made to copy her completely, and couldn't help nodding in approval. Shapeshifting in general was one thing, but that was an impressive display of fidelity. Palutena would have been fooled if she wasn't the one being copied.

"You're absolutely right," she agreed, taking a few steps into the hot water. "Certainly not many from here on Earth. Usually one in a generation, if that." And usually because there was a particularly nice spring she wanted to visit that happened to be occupied. Intentional guests were even rarer.

"Then I can get there, but my only issue is my bones will have to be hollow to get up there. So make sure your people get the memo if I do." The last thing she needed was some big Angel breaking her bones. She could mend it, but it could still be dangerous.

"She'll like the visit I'm sure. If you're so sure I'll even give you her exact location."

She followed Palutena into the water. "Too bad we don't have any soaps or anything or I would scrub your back for you."

"I'll let everyone know, don't worry." It wouldn't do to have her guests roughed up, after all. Especially when she got so few visitors in the first place. "Tell me where she is after the bath, maybe. I'll head in her direction next."

Deep enough into the springs, Plautena sank down to submerge herself up to her armpits, looking up at her doppelganger. "A pity, yes. But I'd never say no to a backrub." A goddess wasn't completely without ego.

"Sounds like a plan then. I imagine you'll know where to find me then when it's good for me to come up." She smiled a bit. This certainly wasn't the conversation she expected to have with a goddess. "Okay I definitely will. Honestly I would love to see the look on her face when the goddess Palutena personally comes to see her." She laughs at the shocked image in her head.

She looked down at Palutena just a bit surprised at her forwardness, but certainly still smiling. "Oh I can definitely do that for you. Just get into a comfortable position." After a moment she thinks to ask "Do you want a backrub from yourself or should I change back?" Her tone was lightly teasing since the question also gave Palutena the question of whether she wanted to see the other woman in her full naked glory.

Palutena chuckled along with her. By the sounds of thing, Dawn's sister wasn't the kind of person who would be expected to see a goddess in personal at all. She had to wonder what kind of person a sister of Dawn's would be like.

"Hmm..." Palutena shifted in the water, finding a spot that was relaxing for her and gave Dawn plenty of room behind her. "It's tempting, but would you change back, I want to see what you can do in your own body." And she was a little keen to see Dawn naked, since the opposite had already happened.

Considering how things were going Palutena would likely be surprised at how different the two were.

"Sure, not a problem." With that she made a point of changing back above water so Palutena would be able to get a good look at her. After giving the goddess a moment or two to look Dawn made her way into the water. "I guess I should mention I don't mind taking requests for my looks, but what do you get for the goddess that has everything?" She teased again as she made her way behind Palutena.

With very little hesitation she would move in close and place her hands on the goddess's shoulders. Beginning to rub them soothingly and expertly enough to suggest she had done this before.

Palutena also made a point of getting a good look. Dawn hadn't been shy about eying her up, even if it was to get her disguise just so. Returning the favor was only fair.

She sighed happily as Dawn started rubbing her down, appreciating how good she was at it. Obviously she'd had plenty of practice. "Mmm, that's a good question," she agreed. "I don't mind surprises, though. I've seen everything you can do with normal human appearance in my time."

Seeing as they were both being subtly teasing Dawn saw no issue in pressing her chest against Palutena's back a bit as she gave her a shoulder rub.

"Well I don't have to have a normal human appearance. I can actually do anything that could pop into your head randomly. The only thing I'm affected by is physical limitations. Without magic for example someone human weight would find it very hard to fly."

A light shiver went through Palutena as Dawn pressed her chest into her back. Her natural gifts certainly weren't lacking either.

"Now there's a world of possibilities," Palutena mused. "I bet you could do a lot with something that flexible." She made a noise of thought. "Do you use that for your job?"

Dawn easily noticed the shiver and it made her press her chest even more firmly to Palutena's back.

"Oh yes I'm plenty flexible," She agreed.

Then came a question she didn't entirely expect to be asked by a goddess. She didn't intend to lie though "Oh yes. It's actually the reason I can live as well as I do. My sister doesn't have to pay for the basics of living thanks to my work."

Palutena sighed quietly again, enjoying the feel of Dawn's body just as much as her hands working her shoulders. She sure knew how to treat a person.

"You're a very responsible sister," Palutena commented. She had noticed that Dawn had avoided saying exactly what she did, but Palutena decided to ponder that silently instead of push her. "Do you get much thanks for that?"

"Oh sure. Faye teases me like a sister does, but she does appreciate what I do for her."

She backed up slightly now so she could rub Palutena's back, remembering her original intentions. "Part of the reason I'm having you visit her is doing something for her too. She needs to be a little more adventurous like I know she wants to be and needs some confidence."

"It's good to hear of a family getting along." Considering they were currently a distance away from each other, yet Dawn took good care of Faye and spoke rather fondly of her, Palutena was feeling more ad more amicable towards Dawn. Even if she did miss being leaned on.

"Adventurous, hm?" She repeated, glancing over her shoulder. "What kind of adventures does she want to go on?"

"Well I'd leave the details up to you, but the sort of adventures that'd lead her into giving a goddess a massage sounds about right to me."

To emphasize her point she would come back in again to press her chest against Palutena's back, but this time also wrapping her arms around the goddess's middle.

Despite the position she would talk calmly. "I know for a fact she'd enjoy doing some of the things I do, but she really does have an issue with confidence. I came into using my abilities in my personal life rather easily, but even with the anonymity that being a shapeshifter provides she's still worried about rejection."

Now when the conversation went to Faye she dropped all pretense of what things could build up to. It was like Faye was one thing that could get her to be a bit serious.

Palutena nodded, giving a soft chuckle when Dawn wrapped herself around the goddess. Being serious where family was concerned was a virtue in her book. And it gave Dawn enough good points that perhaps the shapeshifter had earned a reward.

"In your personal life? I'm not sure I understand." She was blatantly lying, but it was a good setup for her new friend to have fun. "Why don't you demonstrate that to me..." she mouthed the next part silently, "...or on me?"

It was rather difficult for someone to throw Dawn off. She was an expert at doing it to others and had heard just about everything before.

A goddess blatantly propositioning you for a good time? Good enough to get a shocked face and a good few moments of pause. When she recollected herself though she was right back on top of her game.

Dawn ran her hands along Palutena's stomach, lightly brushing her hand along the underside of Palutena's breasts in the process "Well I could, but to do that you've got to answer me this. What do you like in a woman, Lady Palutena?"

She certainly didn't mind working off what most people liked, but if she could get a read on what would make Palutena squirm just by looking at her then she would do it.

Palutena giggled again. Being blunt had been worth it to see that expression on Dawn's face. Just a little reminder that a Goddess was capable of anything, even if she might give the mortal free rein for a while.

She shivered again at both the touch, and at the way Dawn used her title. "Well, goddess are perfection, aren't they?" She teased. "But I like them tall, I like them curvy. Long hair, luscious breasts, that sort of thing. And I like them exotic. Skin and tattoos, especially. The more creative the better."

"Hmm alright I'm sure I can think of something, but I have to be sure you can't peek first." She casually turned Palutena around and without hesitation pressed her lips to the Goddess's. Even if she did open her eyes she wouldn't see much beyond a change in skin tone.

She kissed Palutena for a few long moments before pulling back to let Palutena see everything. The easiest thing Palutena was likely to notice was that she was now chest-height with the woman.

Her skin was now a dark grey, but accentuated by glowing green tattoos that would flow and swirl down and across her body. She kept her hair the same shade of green, but it now tickled at her hips.

"So what do you think? Do I need to make any changes?"

Being kissed worked nicely for a distraction, but Palutena closed her eyes as well. She hummed quietly, tongue flicking at Dawn's lips until she was released. When she got a good look at Dawn, she couldn't keep the smile off her face.

"You took what I said about tall to heart," she commented. And Palutena was already quite regally proportioned, so this was certainly different. To say nothing of her exquisite appeared. "I love it."

She leaned in to initiate another kiss, even if she could only reach the top of Dawn's chest now. "I also like them bold. Don't be afraid, I'll say yes."

She laughed softly "I don't half-ass anything." She happily returned the kiss.

Being given the go-ahead to be bold was all she needed. "Alright Palutena just remember you asked for it." with that the goddess would find herself being lifted into the air before being propped onto Dawn's shoulders. With the close proximity it was self-evident she had in mind.

"Last chance to put some reigns on me." She teased.

Palutena squeaked a little when she was suddenly hoisted into the air. Not out of worry, heights hardly concerned her, but not many people had the guts to manhandle her about, even when she gave them permission.

"A goddess can take it. Do your worst." She was sure that even if she regretted saying that, it was because Dawn showed her a better time then she'd expected.

She was given permission so she saw no reason not to manhandle the goddess.

With full permission she would waste no time in groping Palutena's ass both to get a squeeze of the sacred buns and push the goddess more fully against her mouth. Once she did that her tongue would come out to tease along Palutena's lower lips.

While she did plan to run Palutena through her paces there was no reason to rush.

Palutena was smiling to herself at the idea of going the whole night together, but was distracted when those wings appeared around her. Broad, full wings, the kind that would let something human-sized fly. When they wrapped around her, Palutena couldn't help leaning over to nuzzle into the feathers.

"This is a nice touch," she agreed. "They feel so warm."

"I would definitely appreciate it, and I'm sure she would too."

She smiled a bit and stroked Palutena's hair. "I thought you might like it." Besides it would help if she walked around in this form. She would be mistaken for a particularly interesting angel rather than a goddess of some kind.

"Hmm now what to do next?" She had to think about this. Palutena did leave a lot up in the air.

"Ah I know, this'll let us both be a bit more involved and you won't have to move far." With little other notice than that Palutena would feel something smooth, hard and warm pressing against her abdomen. It was unmistakable in what it was leaving only the question of if she liked it up in the air.
